Spicy Green Onion Salad with Hot Oil Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 9 bunches Green onions
  • ½ tsp Chili powder (to taste)
  • ½ tsp Ground coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1.5 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic
  • 1-2 pcs Fresh chili or bell pepper
  • 1 bunch Fresh cilantro
  • 40-50 g Vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. Cut green onions into 10 cm (4 inch) pieces. Slice larger pieces lengthwise if needed.
  2. Boil water and blanch green onions for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Drain and immediately cool in cold water.
  4. Squeeze out excess water and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  5. Add chili powder, paprika, ground coriander, soy sauce, and salt.
  6. Finely chop garlic, fresh chili, and sancho (or cilantro). Add on top.
  7. Heat vegetable oil until very hot, then pour over the ingredients.
  8. Mix everything thoroughly and serve.
